When her friends are down she’ll grab them and take them somewhere to get them out of their heads. She calmly and kindly talks about different topics and is consciously aware of not sounding condescending when it comes to a subject she’s very knowledgeable about.

Background:
A long time ago, the Gaja family originally originated from the Kingdom of Vacuo, where their family name was once Kamala. The Kamala family were widely known to be wondrous traders and merchants. But their trades had brought them to the Kingdom of Atlas, where Dust production was beginning. The Kamala family’s interest in the Dust proceeded for them to stay at the Kingdom of Atlas, a Kingdom full of white and gray.
Thus the Kamala family became the Gaja family, meaning “elephant” for they thought that the snow reminded them of such.
Later, the newly named Gaja family began working with the people known as the Schnee’s, people who were the pioneers of the production of Dust. The two families formed a kinship, where the Gaja family were forever seated at their Board of Directors.
Lakshmi, the firstborn daughter of the Gaja family, was expected to be seated at the Board of Directors for the Schnee Dust Company in place of her Mother. The matriarch of the family. Lakshmi understood this and accepted her own fate, proceeding to go to Atlas Academy when the time came for her. Yet, at one point, did she curse her fate and her position in life for one reason - marriage. Her family, more specifically her mother, had arranged her marriage to the eldest son of the distinguished Janus family. The Janus family were known to be great warriors who held themselves in high esteem within the Atlas Kingdom. Yet Lakshmi bit her tongue and stuck to her role, something she was fated to be.
However, a loveless and hate-filled marriage was not what she wanted in her life. For a full year, she bothered him. Trying to, at least, befriend him for the sake of their own hearts. Ventos still avoided her, but as time went on - she wore him out. This, in turn, showed the genuineness in her actions and words as well as the beautiful soul she held within. Meeting for a situation not-so-grand to either, they both fell in love with the other.
When Silver Soteria, the leader of Team SLVR, asked them to come to Beacon with her, Lakshmi saw it as a way to explore a different place beyond Atlas. Thus she went without her mother’s consent but promised that she would come back after graduation to be the “Lady Gaja” that she was raised to be.
Things didn’t happen the way that people always wanted. When Lady Sita Gaja received the news about the death of her eldest daughter from a grieving Silver Soteria, Lady Sita was devastated and entered a state of depression. But she grew out of that for the sake of the Schnee family and proceeded to teach her second-eldest daughter, Tara Gaja. Tara entered the Board of Directors when her mother was assassinated by Faunus, for being involved with the Schnee Dust Company.
